"A trip to the sports center" by Vargas Avendaño Patricio 502
Well, today I came to the local sports center here at CDMX in Mexico. I'm not somebody who likes very much doing sports, but lately I've been quite lazy doing almost nothing productive at my place, so I decided to come along over here with a cuople of friends and see what this place has to offer us. When I was a child, I used to practice soccer because of my parents but especially because of my brother, who liked it a lot in contrast to me, who didn't liked it at all. My father used to say sports are a great motivator and a healthy hobby. He doesn't like soccer games though. Anyway, the practice I got, never left, and even after I stopped practicing it, at highschool I was still good at it.
As we arrived, we could notice there were much more people than we expected. The parking was almost full and there were some boys skateboarding near the center. Inside, we saw enough both soccer and basketball gamefields, in wich we could play. One of my friends wanted to play in a mixed basketball game with some teens the same age as us. We asked them if we could join them and they say yes. As the game went on I got tired really fast because of the less practice I had in a long time, so I took a walk with one of the other guys to the water fountain. We walked around 5 minutes meanwhile I looked around the sport center. It was bigger than it looked from the outside, maybe the size of an amusement park. Almost half of the place was occupied by soccer players due to the size of the fields, and almost half of the people playing matchs were girls. There was also a pool, in wich mostly elderly people were swimming. I learned to swim at a young age, and I like to play waterpolo, but I didn't bring the towels or swimming suit, required to enter to the pool, so I couldn' enter. Perhaps next time I come I'll invite some more friends to a match. We get back to the game with some water and then we played soccer. As I told before, football wansn't really my thing but I can defense myself at a quick game. While playing, I noticed that even tought I was tired, it still excited me get the ball and try to score a goal. I haven't lost practice.
Once we finished we agreed with the other guys to meet again and play american football and after it, go for a pizza. It was a fine day, but I think I should recover some movement so I don't get easily tired.
